DigicamDB

About

Camera specifications that are clearer and easier to verify.

DigicamDB We turn scattered manufacturer specifications into consistent fields and publish the formula behind every derived metric.

Structured first

Brands, models, sensors, exposure, video, and body data use consistent field definitions so cameras from different eras can be compared directly.

Traceable sources

We prioritize manufacturer specification pages, manuals, and trusted databases.

Continuous corrections

We record update dates and completeness, and accept data corrections from users.

Editorial and data review policy

DigicamDB is maintained by its editorial team. During development, a camera profile is published only after it includes an original source, verification date, and documented calculation method.

Source priority

Manufacturer specification pages and manuals come first; third-party material is used only for cross-checking.

Field-level review

Core sensor, resolution, weight, and video fields are checked individually against the original source.

Correction record

Verifiable corrections update both the data and review date. Unsourced marketing claims are not added.
